This site displays the paintings and photographs of Robbie Robertson who flies at the Black Mountains Gliding Club in Wales.
As well as instructing in the club training gliders, Robbie flies a Standard Libelle and a 70 year old Slingsby T21 “Snoopy”. An Associate of the Guild of Aviation Artists, Robbie has exhibited his paintings at the GAVA annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London and has been awarded several commendations. Most of the original paintings are offered for sale. Some mounted prints are also available and the number is slowly increasing.
The main focus of this site is Robbie’s paintings of gliders and soaring. However some paintings of non aviation subjects as well as a selection of gliding photographs are also included together with links to gliding videos on YouTube.
